Simon Yuen

Simon Yuen has extensive experience in software engineering and system development. Simon co-founded Neto Ecommerce Solutions in 2009, where they played a key role in building the core SaaS product and managing the development team. Simon later moved to Hong Kong to expand the company's market to the Asia-Pacific region. Simon also worked as a System Developer at BIGshop.com.au from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they founded and served as Director at CS Technology Limited from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Simon is a Principal Software Engineer at Maropost, where they lead Agile teams, manages infrastructure architecture using cloud technologies, and ensures project deliverables meet stakeholder requirements. Simon'srole at Maropost also includes working as a Tech Lead, collaborating with other leads to resolve architectural blockers and facilitate agile scrum development.

Simon Yuen completed a Diploma of Information Technology at Griffith University in 2002-2003. Simon then pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology at QUT from 2003-2005, followed by a Diploma of Information Technology - Honors and a Master of Information Technology in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce at QUT from 2005-2006. Simon also obtained additional certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2023 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021.
