Curtis

Curtis Ma is a seasoned technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and process development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Marqeta since May 2019, Curtis is focused on building infrastructure platforms and designing reliable systems to solve scaling challenges. Previously, Curtis held positions at Oracle as a Process Engineer & Software Developer, where responsibilities included monitoring SaaS platforms and collaborating with engineering teams. Additional experience includes roles as a Validation Engineer at Genentech, a Materials and Process Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft, and a Process Engineer at Intematix. Curtis began the career as a Research & Development Intern at NuSil Technology LLC and gained early research experience as a Student Researcher at UC Santa Barbara. Curtis holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from San José State University and UC Santa Barbara, respectively.
