Erik Antons CPP, PSP currently serves as Managing Vice President and Chief Safety & Security Officer at Marriott International, overseeing global safety and security operations for a vast network of over 9,600 hotels and 700,000 associates across 144 countries. Prior to this role, Erik was Chief Security Officer at PPG, where responsibilities included leading physical security and crisis management for an $18.2 billion enterprise, and at Whirlpool Corporation, overseeing similar functions for a $22.3 billion organization. Erik also held the position of Vice President & Chief Security Officer at HYATT Hotels, managing security for more than 900 hotels worldwide. Erik's earlier experience includes managerial roles in international security at Sempra and a decade as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State. Erik holds a Master of Science in Homeland Security from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Public Relations from Ohio University, supplemented by advanced training in security management from prestigious institutions.
