Jay Larson has extensive experience in human resources within the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Marriott International since September 2016. Prior to this role, Jay held the position of Area Director of Human Resources at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from April 2015 to September 2017, overseeing human resources for union and non-union properties in the Pacific Northwest and Colorado. Jay's career in human resources began at Starwood Hotels in December 2007, and earlier experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources at Westin Hotels from 2001 to 2007. Jay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Hospitality Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona between 1986 and 1989.
