Steve Mars has over two decades of experience in business development and retirement plan consulting. Currently serving as a Business Development professional at Mars Supply since October 2010, Steve's previous roles include DCIO Specialist and Retirement Plans Consultant at a consulting firm, and National Director of DCIO Sales at Van Eck Global. In addition, Steve held the position of Regional Vice-President/Wholesaler at Security Benefit Group and founded Octagon Retirement Plan Services, Inc., where services included daily valuation recordkeeping, fund selection, and financial wellness workshops. Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Education from Hamilton College.

W.P.(Bill) and R.S. (Bob), father and son, founded Mars Supply back in 1924 to service the emerging iron mining and timber industries in Northern Minnesota. Bill and Bob built the company around the philosophy of "finding solutions" and "personal touch". The same holds true today as the entire Mars team is dedicated to personally making sure we take good care of our customers. We have three locations, including the Walter Hammond division in Minneapolis, and are ready to serve you with large local inventories, value-added services and experienced employees.
