Caitlin Boon

Caitlin Boon is currently the Senior Director of Health & Nutrition Policy for U.S. Public Affairs at Mars, where they lead policy engagement on health and nutrition issues across the company's portfolio. From 2010 to 2014, Caitlin served in various roles at the FDA, including Associate Commissioner for Food Policy and Response, where they provided leadership on food safety activities and COVID-19 impacts on the food supply. They also worked as a Program Officer and Food Forum Director at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine from 2008 to 2010, and briefly as a Health Policy Advisor for the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions in 2014. Caitlin is currently pursuing education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
