Derek Cox

Derek Cox is currently the Director of Mars Snacking Global Consulting at Mars, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Derek served as a Project Leader and Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from September 2020 to March 2023, and held positions as an MBA Summer Associate in Customer Data Strategy at the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the summer of 2019. Derek's experience at BCG also includes roles as a Consultant and Associate from August 2015 to July 2018, alongside a Summer Associate position in 2014. Earlier career involvement includes serving as Team Manager for Northwestern Men's Basketball from October 2011 to March 2015, and as a Summer Supply Chain Analyst at Abbott in the summer of 2013. Educational achievements include an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University (2011-2015), along with a Kellogg Certificate in Managerial Analytics.
