Dimitar Toshkov

Dimitar Toshkov is a seasoned professional in beverage technology and flavor modulation with extensive experience in research and development across multiple food and beverage sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Beverage Technologist at Brookside Flavors and Ingredients since May 2022, Dimitar focuses on beverage application and product development. Prior to this role, Dimitar held several positions at Imbibe, culminating as a Taste Modulation Scientist, where significant contributions included the commercialization of flavor modulation properties and the expansion into snack food categories. Earlier roles included a Beverage Technician at Now Foods, where flavor stability was a key focus, and a Research and Development Intern. Dimitar possesses a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and linguistic studies at Goethe-Institut Hamburg.
