Gregory Amos

Research Manager - Microbiome

Gregory Amos is a Senior Research Manager at the Waltham Petcare Science Institute, leading scientific research focused on pet health and overseeing the multi-omics and biobank teams. Previously, Gregory established and led the microbiome team at the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, where they researched the microbiome's role in human health from 2016 to 2021. Earlier in their career, Gregory worked at UC San Diego as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and at the University of Warwick as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, contributing to projects on drug discovery and antimicrobial resistance. Gregory holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology and Virology, both from the University of Warwick.
