Iryna Syb, Ph.D., is the Director of Food Safety, Microbiology & Sanitation for Health & Wellness brands at Mars, where they have worked since 2021. With over 15 years of experience in food manufacturing and ISO17025 laboratory management, Iryna has held various roles at Mars, including Global Sr Scientist Microbiology and Global Microbial Trend Analysis Specialist. They have also served as Laboratory Director at Matrix Sciences and have a strong background in quality assurance and microbiology from organizations such as Leprino Foods and Case Farms, Inc. Iryna earned a Ph.D. in Food Science/Microbiology from North Carolina State University and holds a Master's degree in Grain Storage and Processing Technology.
