Mark Wuite

Mark Wuite is an experienced professional in microbiology and food safety, currently serving as the EU Micro Laboratory Operations Manager and EU Micro Consultancy & Audit Senior Scientist at Mars since September 2020. Responsibilities include overseeing the external micro lab network, liaising between Mars sites and external lab partners, and conducting ISO 17025 audits. Prior to Mars, Mark worked as the Coördinator R&D at WFC Analytics BV, focusing on microbiological risk assessments for Listeria monocytogenes in food products. Additional experience includes positions at Nederlandse Voedsel en Warenautoriteit (NVWA) and Eurofins as a Microbiology Analyst, and a research technician role at RIVM. Mark holds a Master's degree in Food Safety from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
