Matthew Blacknell has extensive experience in consumer and shopper insights, currently serving as the Global DComm Customer & Shopper Insights lead at Mars since November 2008, where responsibilities include shaping the UK Shopper Insights function and influencing business strategy. Matthew's previous roles at Mars included Senior Manager for UK Shopper Insights, CMI Interim Team Lead during the Wrigley integration, and Lead Brand Planner. Prior to Mars, Matthew held the position of Account Manager at Hall & Partners and Project Executive at Research International. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Leeds Beckett University and attended Hele's School in Plymouth.
