Olivia Platt

Olivia Platt, MBA, has extensive experience in research and development, product innovation, and brand management within the food industry. Significant roles include an R&D Process Development Internship at Mars, where Olivia supported the transition to non-artificial colorants and implemented new processing technologies. As an Associate Agile Innovation Manager, Olivia launched new product platforms for M&M’S® and SNICKERS® while managing end-to-end innovation processes. A tenure as a Packaging Development Engineer involved leading the design and development of Ethel M® packaging, achieving efficient turnaround times. Previous experiences also include product development at KIND® and roles at Thrive4Life, Pinnacle Foods, and National Chung Hsing University. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Honors Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and is pursuing an MBA at Virginia Tech.
