Robbie Schers

Robbie Schers has extensive experience in industrial engineering and supply chain management, currently serving as Regional Industrial Engineer CAB and Principal Industrial Engineer for semifinished goods at Mars since May 2012. Responsibilities include overseeing capacity and capability in the semifinished goods network, co-piloting value streams at the Mars Veghel factory, leading investment recommendations, and directing the Veghel 2050 Masterplan. Previous roles at Mars include Production Planning Supervisor and Cross Border Transport Buyer. Prior to Mars, Robbie worked as a Strategic Purchaser and Product Coordinator at Prodrive B.V., and completed a software development project at Eindhoven University of Technology focused on carbon dioxide emissions in transport. Intern experience at Dow Chemical involved conducting a Master Thesis on the same topic. Robbie holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and DTU - Technical University of Denmark, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
