Ryan Simpson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development within the pet nutrition industry. Currently serving as Snr R&D Director at the Care & Treats Global Innovation Centre at Mars since November 2020, Ryan previously held various leadership roles at Mars, including Head of Operations at the Waltham Centre for Pet Nutrition and VP of R&D for International Markets. Prior experience includes a Research Scientist position at Unilever and a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Imperial College London. Ryan holds a BSc in Food Science and a PhD in Food Microbiology from Queen's University Belfast.
