Sofia Karlén is currently the Smart Factory Product Management Lead at Mars Petcare, where they oversee digital transformation strategies and manage vendor relationships across global manufacturing. With five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Global Operations IT, Sofia has specialized in Manufacturing Intelligence and AI Product life-cycle management. Previously, Sofia held positions at AstraZeneca as a Business Partner and was a Product Owner at Novo Nordisk, where they significantly expanded team size and budget while enhancing user satisfaction. Sofia earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
