Stefan Royaert

Stefan Royaert is currently a Fellow in Applied Breeding at Mars Wrigley, where they lead the global applied breeding program for cacao, managing breeding trials across various regions. They have held multiple significant positions at Mars, including Interim General Manager and Science & Site Director at the Mars Center for Cocoa Science. Their diverse experience includes roles as a Research Geneticist at USDA-ARS and a Molecular Geneticist at CIRAD. Stefan completed a Master's degree at Ghent University and earned a PhD from the University of Nijmegen.
