Verda Vardar

Verda Vardar has extensive experience in the retail and consumer goods sectors, currently serving as the Head of Category Strategy at Mars since November 2011. Vardar's previous roles at Mars include Category Head, Category Manager for Cross Segment, Petcare & Food, Senior Customer Marketing Executive, and Key Account Manager. Prior to joining Mars, Vardar worked as a Buying Manager at Tesco from September 2008 to November 2011 and completed an internship at the Izmir Chamber of Commerce in early 2007. Vardar holds an MBA in Economics and Administrative Sciences from Ege University, obtained between 2010 and 2012, and a degree from the Faculty of International Relations and the European Union at Izmir University of Economics, completed in 2008.
