Yang Gao

Yang Gao is an AI Product Leader with significant experience across Retail CPG, Oral Care, Biotech, and IoT. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer and co-founder of ZD Energy, Yang focuses on developing AI-centered solutions to promote sustainable and engaging home energy management. Previously, Yang held several roles at Mars, including Head of Analytics Products and Applied Machine Learning Product Lead, and has been involved in academic teaching and research as a former Graduate Student Collaborator at the University of Illinois. With a strong advocacy for AI ethics and a passion for community engagement, Yang actively contributes to initiatives in art education as a volunteer at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
