Catherine Read

Catherine Read is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Marsh UK, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they served as Chief Operating Officer at Royal London Asset Management from 2018 to 2022 and held various roles at Barclays Investment Bank, including in the Equity Derivative Middle Office and Internal Audit. Catherine also worked as Group Audit Director at Royal London from 2013 to 2018 and began their career at PwC in Insurance and Asset Management. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science between 1999 and 2002, and served as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for the Welsh Rugby Union from 2021 to 2023.
