Karen Canning has an extensive background in the insurance and risk management sectors, having begun their career at AIG as a Senior Underwriter from 1992 to 1995. They served as an Assistant Secretary at Constitution Reinsurance from 1993 to 1996 and later advanced to an Account Executive at RSA, where they worked from 1996 to 2003 as a global property underwriter. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President and International Practice leader at Marsh's Denver office, advising clients on large global property and international casualty programs. Karen is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Russian Language and Literature at the University of Toronto while having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
