Michael Foster has a diverse and extensive background in leadership, operations, and security within both military and educational contexts. Experience includes serving as the Oregon and Idaho Inspector General for the U.S. Army, where leadership skills were honed over a span of military service, including roles such as Brigade Commander for the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team and Executive Officer to SACEUR at NATO. Michael's academic qualifications include a fellowship at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
