Doug Folger

Doug Folger has over 30 years of experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Doug started as a Purchasing Agent at JI Case Ltd in 1990 and worked their way up to Senior Buyer at BorgWarner Inc. In their roles, they managed teams, implemented TQM systems, and achieved significant cost savings. In their most recent role at Marshalls plc, they specialized in Concrete Raw Materials Management and Capital Strategy, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and cost control abilities.

Doug Folger attended Greenhead College Huddersfield from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained A levels in English with a focus on English Language and Literature. Doug then pursued a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies at North Hertfordshire College from 1986 to 1988. Later, from 1996 to 2000, they attended the Chartered Institute of Purchasing, where they studied Law, strategy, international purchasing, commercial relationships, stores, and inventory management.
