Val Mun

Val Mun is an experienced professional specializing in product management and analytics in the financial sector. Currently serving as Product Director - Retention at Marshmallow since February 2025, Val previously held multiple roles at Wise, including Director and Senior Manager in Product Analytics from June 2022 to January 2025. Earlier experience includes positions in product machine learning at Aegon Life and serving on the Board of Directors for Aegon Pensii, one of Romania's largest private pension fund management companies. Val's career at Aegon spanned from 2012 to 2020, where several titles included Lead Program Manager in Data Science and ML and Regional Manager for Financial Risk and Asset Liability Management. Val holds a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics and Risk Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a postgraduate degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
