Jonathan Martin

Jonathan Martin's work experience includes working as a Principal Software Engineer at MARSS Group since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MARSS Group from August 2015 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the backend side of applications for maritime security and safety, working on various topics such as sensor control, video processing, threat analysis, and network engineering. Jonathan also worked on side projects involving smart glasses, SDR signal analysis, radar data acquisition, video analytics, and machine learning.

Before joining MARSS Group, Jonathan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NVIDIA from March 2013 to August 2015, where they focused on TCP/IP flow expertise and GRID gaming optimization for modem performances over 3G/4G networks.

Prior to that, they worked as a Development Engineer at Cisco Systems from September 2010 to March 2013, where they worked on IPv6 implementation, software routing and switching, and access control.

Jonathan also worked as a Contract Software Engineer in self-contracting IT services from March 2010 to July 2010. Jonathan held intern positions at NEC from March 2009 to December 2009 and at INRIA from May 2007 to February 2009, gaining experience in software development.

Jonathan Martin has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Université Côte d'Azur, which they obtained in 2007. Jonathan also has a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from EURECOM, which they obtained in 2009. Additionally, they hold an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Télécom Paris, which they obtained in 2010. Jonathan has also completed several certifications in various machine learning and deep learning topics from Coursera in 2018.
