Robert McGrath has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Robert started their career at Alcatel, where they worked as a Systems Integration Specialist, supporting IPTV and *DSL testbeds. After that, they joined Nortel and participated in their New Graduate Leadership Program, gaining experience as a Project Manager & Business Analyst in the IT Project Management Office.

Robert then moved on to work at Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness Canada as a Systems Operator, before joining Nakina Systems as a Support Engineer, providing 24/7 on-call support for enterprise EMS and Inventory Reconciliation products.

Robert later joined MD Physician Services as a Quality Assurance Analyst and continued in that role when the company was acquired by TELUS Health. At TELUS Health, they supported a migration of services and virtualization of devices into the corporate data center and played a key role in migrating from OracleSQL to PostgreSQL database technology.

Most recently, Robert has been working at Martello Technologies as a Manager Network Engineering, where they manage a small team supporting a global corporate network. Their responsibilities include building complex simulated networks for testing, automating and monitoring cloud deployments, and Tier 3 problem investigation & resolution.

Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated adaptability, technical expertise, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities.

Robert McGrath attended Carleton University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (bIT) with a specialization in Network Technology. Alongside their degree, Robert also obtained an additional certification in ITILv3, although specific details about the institution and timing of this certification are unavailable.
