Mathieu Siewe has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Mathieu began their career in 1990 as an Assistent Crew Chief for the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Mathieu then worked as a Ground Engineer for Bogaerds Cord from 1992 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Star Airservice as a Ground Engineer and later became the Maintenance Manager. In 2007, Mathieu joined RotaryWings as the Nominated Postholder Continuing Airworthiness and served in this role until 2021. During their time at RotaryWings, they also worked as an Airworthiness Review Staff from 2016 to 2022. In 2014, Mathieu worked as an Auditor for Insight Aviation. In 2007, they joined Martinair and held various roles such as Director Technical Operations Martinair Cargo / Postholder Part CAMO, Airworthiness Review Staff, Safety and Compliance Manager AOC/ATO, Head Safety and Compliance Management, Safety and Compliance Manager Part M / Part CAMO, Safety and Compliance Manager Part 145, Safety and Compliance Manager ATO, Airworthiness Review Staff, Safety and Compliance Manager Part M/145, Safety and Compliance Manager Part 21, and Safety Management Officer. Mathieu worked at Martinair until 2023. Mathieu Siewe attended Open Universiteit from 2011 to 2012, studying CPP Basics van het Management. Prior to that, they attended Anthony Fokkerschool from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their education, they obtained the FAA A&P certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1994 and the EASA Part 66 Cat B1.1 / B1.2 / B1.3 / B1.4 & Cat C certification from the EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency in 1991.
