Fernando Ayala

Fernando Ayala is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as a Sales Manager at Marubeni Corporation since October 2022, Ayala previously held key roles such as Director of the Graduate Program in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Católica del Norte and Long Term Maintenance Planner at Albemarle Corporation. With a background in academia, Ayala contributed to the development of the Industrial Engineering Program at Universidad Católica del Norte, overseeing curriculum and faculty matters. Additional experience includes managerial positions in maintenance and operations at companies like Minera Centinela, Minera El Tesoro, and Teck Resources Limited, demonstrating a strong foundation in maintenance planning and continuous improvement.
