Brian Ritchken

Brian Ritchken is a Senior Staff RTL Design Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor since September 2018, specializing in system design and implementation. Previously, Brian served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Course Advisor at Cornell University, where responsibilities included grading, conducting office hours for Computer Architecture and introductory physics classes, and assisting in transitioning the Embedded Systems course to an ARM processor. Brian's research experience includes work at the Computer Systems Laboratory, focusing on coordination between robotic drones and energy-efficient Android systems. Prior internships at Cavium Inc involved designing modules in SystemVerilog for flagship SoCs and collaborating on hardware optimization for cryptographic algorithms. Brian holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from Cornell University, along with a high school diploma from Orange High School.
