Deng Mao

Deng Mao is a seasoned PIC Engineer with over 8 years of experience specializing in integrated photonic circuits, focusing on the design and characterization of devices for data center and AI interconnects. Having recently served as a PDK Developer at Dream Photonics Inc., they contributed to developments like dual-band adiabatic couplers and automated layout solutions. Deng has also held notable positions at Marvell Technology and Ciena, where they advanced various modulator designs and layout automation processes. They completed their PhD in Silicon Photonics at McGill University, where they also gained hands-on research experience and served as a teaching assistant.
