Derek Luo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in networking and telecommunications. Currently serving as Sr. Director at Marvell Semiconductor since January 2012, Derek leads the Greater China Networking & Storage FAE team, focusing on designs for various technologies including Switch, PHY, SoC, Retimer, Automotive, SSD, and FC. Previously, Derek held the position of Director, where responsibilities included leading the Greater China Networking Solution FAE team and supporting customer application development based on Marvell chips. Prior experience includes serving as Staff Manager for China Carriers BD at Marvell, and as Senior Solution Consultant for Media & Entertainment Solutions at Nokia Siemens Networks Technology, where Derek managed solutions tailored for the Great China Region. Earlier career roles at Siemens involved senior product management in telecommunications solutions. Derek holds an MBA from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Information Engineering from North China University of Technology.
