Mani Gopal

Mani Gopal is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware design and development, currently serving as Senior Director of Hardware Design at Marvell Semiconductor since December 2017. Gopal oversees the creation of SmartNIC products, Host Security modules, and Machine Learning Inference modules, while engaging with ODMs in the Far East for product development. Previously, Gopal worked as a consultant at Facebook, contributing to the CPU subsystem of the "Aquila" program. At QLogic Corp, Gopal held the position of Director of Engineering, leading the development of high-speed Ethernet and Fibre Channel adapters and managing a diverse team of engineers across multiple countries. Gopal's career also includes significant achievements at Netxen Inc. and GDA Technologies, focusing on innovative hardware solutions and effective project execution. Gopal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jawaharalal Nehru National College of Engineering, completed in 1988.
