Sergio Munoz

Sergio (chencho) Muñoz is a highly skilled professional in the fields of software development and engineering, with extensive experience spanning from 2002 to the present. Currently serving as DevOps Technical Lead and Staff Application Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor since 2018, Sergio has also contributed to RootedCON as an organizer since 2011. Previous roles include Video Engineer at Cavium Networks and W&W Communications, and IPTV Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, where involvement included the development of HDMI environments for chipset middleware. Additional experience includes work as a Developer in MPEG4 at Telefonica i+D and in web development at Adaptia S.L., following an early career as a Scholar at the Universidad de Extremadura. Sergio holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidad de Extremadura, earned in 2003.
