William Cornwell

William Cornwell is a highly experienced technical leader in ASIC design and engineering, currently serving as AVP for CCS - DFT and AVP of ASIC & Processor at Marvell Technology since November 2019. Cornwell has a robust background in managing design teams across advanced technologies including 5nm, 7nm, and 14nm, with a focus on serving Data Center, Carrier, and Enterprise ASIC customers. Prior experience includes leading the ASIC Design Center at GLOBALFOUNDRIES and IBM, where responsibilities encompassed global design execution and direct collaboration with customer executives. Cornwell's technical expertise spans various roles, including senior engineering management and technical leadership in core development and analog design. Cornwell holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
