Heather Colangelo

Heather Colangelo is an experienced professional in the fields of mental health and public safety, currently serving as the President of CrossWinds Counseling, LLC since August 2023. With a robust background, Heather also holds positions as a Public Safety Instructor at CPR of America and as a Clinician at Marvin, both since June and May 2021, respectively. Additional roles include Emergency Services Instructor at ACLS Academy and National EMS Institute, and previously as Director of the Structured Outpatient Addiction Program and Clinical Therapist at Universal Health Services/Arbour Counseling Services. Heather's career in mental health began at Washington County Mental Health Services, where multiple positions were held from December 2012 to June 2018. The early career includes roles as a Community Police Officer and Senior State Trooper. Heather holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Psychology from Bridgewater State University.
