Abdulla Zayed

Abdulla Zayed is an experienced professional currently serving as an Independent Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk since June 2024. Zayed has held various senior positions at Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) since October 2016, including Director for Development and Investment in Asia and Africa, Head of Development and Investment for Central Asia and Africa, Acting Head of Greenfield Business Development, and Business Development Manager. Additionally, Zayed is the CEO of MW Energy, a joint venture between Masdar and W Solar, since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Zayed served as Government Budget Section Head at the Abu Dhabi Executive Office from July 2012 to July 2016 and as a Renewable Energy Financial and Commercial Analyst at Masdar from November 2009 to December 2011. Zayed holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management and a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Higher Colleges of Technology.
