John Sitler

John Sitler, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John is currently working as the Associate Director of Business Development for Masdar Green Hydrogen at Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company). John has also held various roles within the company, including Board Director for the US Platform and Armenia Platform, Head of In-house Financial Advisory, Senior Bids/Business Development Manager, and Private Equity Senior Associate.

In addition to their work at Masdar, John has served as the Chairman of Wilderwise Homes since 2017. John has also been a Board Director for the External Advisory Board at Masdar Institute for Science and Technology from 2013 to 2016.

John's earlier career includes roles as a Carbon Markets Researcher at Masdar Institute for Science and Technology, a Web Developer at Spakkle, a Fixed Income Trader at Susquehanna International Group, and a NASA Hydrogen Research Intern at Florida Solar Energy Center.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in financial advisory, business development, private equity, carbon markets research, web development, and fixed income trading. John has achieved significant outcomes, such as developing energy-econ. system dynamics models, executing profitable trading strategies, and discovering novel trading schemes.

John Sitler, CFA has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics and Economics from Cornell University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. John later pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Systems and Management from Masdar Institute for Science and Technology, completing it from 2009 to 2011. In 2003, they participated in a Summer Program on International Business at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. John also holds certifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute and as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C) from the U.S. Green Building Council.
