Peter Branton

Peter Branton is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in content development and public relations. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at COP28 UAE since April 2023 on secondment from Masdar, Peter is responsible for both internal and external content for the event. Prior roles include Lead of content development at Masdar, Senior Consultant at Golin, and Communications Manager at Avaya, where responsibilities expanded from copywriting to managing public relations strategies across multiple regions. Earlier, Peter worked as an editorial consultant for Wallis MC and built a career at Bloomberg LP, progressing from editor on the Technology and Media team to managing a team focused on Emerging Markets. Peter's career foundation was laid at ITP and VNU, complemented by academic credentials in History from Swansea University and the University of Staffordshire.
