Mash Direct has transformed the ready-meals category with its award-winning range of quick-serve potato and vegetable side dishes. Led by the Hamilton family in County Down, this innovative farming enterprise delivers quality “field to fork” produce, from traditional Mashed Potato to modern favourites like Beer Battered Onion Rings and Croquettes.

With six generations of farming expertise, Mash Direct cultivates heritage vegetables grown for flavor, not appearance. These are steam-cooked on-site in bespoke ovens, ensuring a homemade taste in every bite. Proudly producing over 50 products, Mash Direct’s entire range is 100% gluten-free and free from artificial additives, making it a trusted name for quality and nutrition.

As the UK’s leading brand in vegetable accompaniments, Mash Direct has earned 250 accolades over its 20-year journey, including 34 Great Taste Awards. From a small stand at St. George’s Market to nationwide supermarket shelves, the company’s dedication to sustainable farming, innovation, and family values has cemented its position as a national culinary icon.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024, Mash Direct continues to honour its legacy of delivering farm-fresh excellence, from its humble beginnings with ‘Ulster Champ’ to becoming a household name.
