Emmett Smith

Emmett Smith is an Associate Producer at Mashable. Emmett previously worked as a sound editor at Decibel 11, where they worked on popular movies and TV shows such as Nurse Jackie, Master of None, The Sinner (all seasons), Spielberg on HBO, Jane Fond in Five Acts, and The Half of it on Netflix. Their skills include sound design, sound editing, ADR recording, ADR editing, SFX editing, dialog editing, Pro Tools session prep, podcast recording, and podcast editing. Prior to their work at Decibel 11, Emmett worked as a video editor at PCMag.com, where they edited product review videos in Adobe Premiere Pro and shot daily morning shows.

Emmett Smith attended the School of Visual Arts for their undergraduate degree in cinematography and film/video production. Emmett then attended Borough of Manhattan Community College for their high school diploma in film/cinema/video studies.
