Ivan J

Ivan J has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and information technology fields since 2009. In 2010, they completed an internship at the Câmara Municipal de Curitiba, where they worked on a project involving data/system migration using PostgreSQL, Python, and Shell script (Bash). In 2011, they participated in the Edutec Internship Program at GVT. In 2012, they completed an internship at Habber Tec, where they developed BPM processes using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and MS-SQL/Oracle (SQL), and obtained an IBM Websphere certification. In 2014, they were a Web System Developer for the Prefeitura Municipal de São José dos Pinhais. From 2016 to 2019, Ivan worked at CINQ, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and held meetings with stakeholders from the US. In 2020, they were an Information Technology Analyst at Siemens, where they worked with Node.js, Python, Electron, React, MongoDB, and Oracle. In 2021, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat. Currently, Ivan is a Senior Software Engineer at Mashgin, a YCombinator-backed startup in Palo Alto, California, where they are working on a tech stack using Vue.js for frontend development and mostly Node.js for backend development.

Ivan J attended Universidade Federal do Paraná from 2008 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Ivan then returned to the same university from 2016 to 2018, where they were pursuing a Master's degree in Informatics, but left before completing it.
