Daniel Klein is a seasoned creative professional currently serving as the Creative Director for Film and Video at Masienda since February 2022. In addition, Daniel has been the Director and Producer for The Perennial Plate, a two-time James Beard Award-winning web series and production company, since November 2009, collaborating with notable clients such as Guinness, Organic Valley, and Tastemade. Daniel holds an Independent Study degree in Social Movements in Latin America and NYC from New York University, completed between 2001 and 2005, and graduated from the American Community School in 2001.

Masienda is a marketplace that offers heirloom corn and companion crops, single-origin ingredients, cookware, and home goods from Mexico. Masienda collaborates with traditional farmers to grow and acquire ingredients and also employs artisans to create beautiful and long-lasting home products as well as tools like molcajetes, molinitos, comales,and tortilla presses. Masienda's goal is to introduce more people to the rich and cultural heritage of the Mexican kitchen.
