Charles Ma is currently the Embedded Systems Technical Lead at Masimo, where they have been enhancing product intelligence through advanced technologies since 2019. Previously, they held various roles at Masimo, including Sr. Project Manager and Engineering Manager, where they led key medical device projects and ensured compliance with regulatory standards. Prior to Masimo, Charles worked at Brooks Automation as a Sr. Embedded Systems Engineer, optimizing real-time control algorithms for semiconductor automation systems, and at NuVasive, where they developed navigation systems for spinal surgery. Charles is pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. In their spare time, they enjoy writing and spending time outdoors.
