Jake Prittie

Jake Prittie is an R&D Mechanical Engineer II at Masimo since September 2022, focusing on the design and maintenance of non-invasive medical monitoring instruments, including devices like Root, Rad-97, Rad-G, and Radius VSM. Prior to this role, Jake served as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Advanced Pressure Technologies Pty Ltd in June to August 2021, where responsibilities included creating formal engineering drawings and part modeling using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Additionally, Jake was the Lead Suspension Engineer for SDSU Aztec Electric Racing from August 2019 to May 2021, leading a team in the design and manufacture of an electric Formula-1 style race car. Jake earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, completing studies from 2017 to 2022.
