Edward Yee

Edward Yee has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2015, they co-founded Invenio Pte. Ltd., a profitable startup where they gained experience in customer acquisition and management. In 2016, they participated in the Social Business Immersion Program at Yunus Centre. In 2017, they co-founded Givfunds Social Ventures, focusing on investing in South Asian social enterprises and developing innovative finance products. During this time, they closed over 60 deals with leading ecosystem partners. In the same year, they also worked at SpringML, Inc., where they handled finance and accounting tasks and received awards for their work. From 2019, Edward worked as a self-employed consultant, specializing in impact investing and impact measurement & evaluation. Edward collaborated on several impact funds and overhauled the evaluation strategy of a UK foundation. In 2020, they joined The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) as a Systems Mapping representative. Edward later became a Summer Associate at GSG. Recently, in 2021, Edward co-founded Masref, a venture-backed company involved in making safe and secure savings accounts accessible to everyone. Additionally, in the same year, they became a co-redactor of the IxSA Manifesto.

Edward Yee has a diverse education history. Edward obtained an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they completed an MBA from the Saïd Business School, also at the University of Oxford. Before their time at Oxford, Edward pursued a Double Degree in Business (Banking & Finance) and Accountancy at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. In terms of additional certifications, they acquired the Chartered Global Management Accountant™ (ACMA, CGMA®) credential from CIMA in November 2021.
