Owen Borders

Research Assistant - Psychiatry

Owen Borders is a research professional with experience in both biology and psychology. At the University of Connecticut, Owen served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Urban Lab, contributing to a NASA-funded project focused on horizontal gene transfer in Mars analogue environments and developing a neural network to analyze the SARS-CoV-2 genome. Additionally, in a psychology research position, Owen investigated the impact of gaze focal points on the interpretation of the Necker Lattice image. Currently, Owen is a Research Assistant in the Psychiatry Neuroimaging Lab at Mass General Brigham. Owen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Cognitive Science from the University of Connecticut, earned in 2022.
