Chris Conti

Chris Conti is a seasoned creative producer and manager currently overseeing the Research & Development Store at MASS MoCA since January 2023. Previously, Chris served as the Trade Sales Manager at Independent Publishers Group, where the focus was on building a sales force and expanding business with independent bookstores across the U.S. Prior experience includes midwest sales manager at Phaidon Press, managing trade accounts, and print & media buyer at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, where responsibilities encompassed merchandise procurement and pop-up retail programs. Chris also held the position of Director of Retail at Wexner Center for the Arts, managing inventory and coordinating events, and worked as Visual Art Coordinator at Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, curating programming and managing budgets. Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in photography from University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University, respectively.
