Massachusetts Community Media, Inc. (MassAccess) is a non-profit, 501(c)(6), membership-based advocacy agency, guided by a volunteer board of community media professionals. Our goal is to ensure the future vitality of Massachusetts based community media centers by developing educational workshops, monitoring legislation, utilizing technology to inform and enhance community media centers, as well as acting as government liaisons to inform supporters across Massachusetts regarding the current political landscape in regards to media.

We engage in state policy work and lobby the legislature. We hold workshops, conferences and networking events for members. Our media centers are institutions of learning and hubs for creative individuals. Online, we provide a communal video server and host forums for discussion.

As we grow and move forward, we want to continue to hear the opinions of community media stations across the state. We are here to give you a voice and to amplify your message, so it’s heard no matter your size.

We continue in our mission for you, our members and colleagues, ensuring your work for free speech will resonate for decades to come. The viability of community media in Massachusetts is in our hands. Together we will ensure a strong and viable future for community media.
