Christopher Murphy

Christopher Murphy has over 30 years of experience in the biotech industry. Christopher is currently the Director at MassBio, a position they have held since June of 2022. Prior to their current role, Christopher served as the Vice President/General Manager of Viral Vector Services at Thermo Fisher Scientific from May of 2019 to June of 2020. Before that, they were the Chief Operations Officer at Brammer Bio from June of 2017 to May of 2019.

Christopher began their career in 1988 as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Wyeth Biotech. Christopher then spent three years as the Director of Contract Manufacturing at BioReliance before joining Sanofi in 2001. Christopher spent 16 years with Sanofi, ultimately serving as the General Manager of the company's manufacturing facility in Allston Landing (Boston), MA. In 2017, Christopher left Sanofi to join Brammer Bio as the Chief Operations Officer. Christopher held that role for two years before being promoted to Vice President/General Manager of Viral Vector Services at Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2019. Christopher has been with MassBio since June of 2020.

Christopher Murphy's educational career includes a BSc in Biology from Rutgers University and an MSc in Biochemistry from New York Medical College.
