Michael Stern

Michael Stern is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HeadStart, a PR and marketing company for startups established in March 2021. In addition to leading HeadStart, Michael serves as a mentor at Techstars and Halcyon, and acts as a judge and mentor at MassChallenge. Michael previously worked at Pinkston as a Senior Account Executive and held multiple roles at WRIC-TV, including Executive Producer of the "Good Morning Richmond" show, where responsibilities included managing a team, content strategy, and coverage of significant events. Michael began the career as a Multimedia Journalist with Capital News Service and co-founded a student-run sports media group at the University of Maryland, where education was also completed in 2017. Notable achievements include being recognized as "Best Producer of the Virginias" by the Associated Press.
